GE Maintenance Solutions (GEMS) completed the installation of three new membranes and the provision of labour and equipment to carry out warranty repairs on the existing membranes at the Yepoon Sewage Treatment Plant (STP). The client had heard of GEMS' excellent track record of their recent project completed at the Cannonvale Sewage Treatment Plant (STP).

In less than 21 days, GEMS managed to procure all necessary materials, oversee the fabrication of three stainless steel membrane frames, and manufacture 28 membrane frame brackets along with aeration pipework.

Additionally, GEMS coordinated and deployed the essential workforce, cranes, and specialized equipment required to execute the on-site works. These site activities involved core drilling and the installation of 12 membrane brackets.
